On behalf of the Editorial Board we would like to inform you about the foundation of an international historical bulletin “Remembrance and Solidarity” Review published by the European Network “Remembrance and Solidarity”. European Network “Remembrance and Solidarity” was established in 2005 under the joint declaration by the Governments of Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. The raison d’être behind the European Network “Remembrance and Solidarity” is to examine, disseminate, and document knowledge about the history of totalitarianism, dictatorships and wars in 20th-century Europe, accounting for their root causes, progress, acts of resistance, and consequences, however far-reaching. The foundation on which the Network operates is the effort to make sure that the historical message that it creates, supports and conveys is strongly rooted in the latest scientific findings, and that the formulation of the message contains no unjustified simplifications. The task of the European Network “Remembrance and Solidarity” is to support the process of understanding the history of the 20th century through the multilateral exchange and discussion of historical facts and the various images of history.

Bulletin of the European Network “Remembrance and Solidarity” is a platform for exchange of views between researchers of the history of the Central Europe. Members of the Editorial Board are eminent historians from several countries. Articles sent to the bulletin will be translated into English and in both languages (native and English) will go to the website and then will be published in the paper version.

We would like to invite academics, postgraduates and students who are interested in issues of our bulletin to send articles as required CALL FOR PAPERS in the attachments. We will also be grateful for forwarding this email to interested persons.
